THANKSGIVING IS AMONG THE MOST SPECIAL CELEBRATIONS here in the U. S.
Although this is a major historical event that has come down through the years to us, I take it very personally. It is a yearly reminder that God has blessed us with His bountiful gifts and most particularly the freedom to worship as we wish without hindrance from anyone or entity. I try to daily keep all of this in mind, however, I am glad that we set aside a day to celebrate.
In addition to being thankful to God for this freedom, there is a huge list of things I am thankful for as well; including my ability to use the gift of painting to collectors, friends, family and the general public.
Thank you for your interest, exchange and interactivity with me on and off-line. I pray for and appreciate you all so very much and hope you too, will reflect on what means most to you wherever you are: in the U.S. or elsewhere. Take time for a private moment to count your own blessings.
Meanwhile, I look toward Christmas, as you may be looking forward to the season's holiday that you may be celebrating.
Hello Diane,
Just starting to set up my own blog I came across yours and thought I should respond to your Greetings on Thanksgiving. We don't have a thanksgiving day here in the UK. Perhaps we should. I pray that it went well for you.
